I was thinking of doing a quilt based on this picture I took of cloth in the West Bank.

Yes. The bars had rusted onto the cloth giving those zipper-like markings. I loved the colors and the way the cloth flowed.

Fabulous! You should totally do that. Would you do the bars as part of the quilt too? I thought it was part of the fabric at first.

Yes, I would put the bars in, too. I think it would give it a real poignancy since it was in the West Bank.

I like this picture, too. I might do them both once I've finished writing my story.

Oooh, I see the beginning of a series emerging. Or is that wishful thinking? I love that photo too.

Oh, then you could do one of that amazing map! I think I'm getting carried away here:)

Just wishful thinking. I need to push myself to getting back into quilting. I was writing so much that I kind of stopped. Problem is that I sell most of my quilts at science fiction conventions and they have to have a scifi theme. The first one I could spin that way but not the second. The ones you were looking at doing would also work at the cons.

I am wondering how much inspiration I will have for writing once the series ends. I figure it will free a lot more time for quilting for me.
