Fell down the rabbit hole
So, um, I kind of disappeared today. Busy day! I got DD1 off to Sunday School and then did some stuff to get ready to take DD2. (DD1 rides with the neighbors). Got DD2 dropped off and ran to Target where they didn't have everything I needed. *sigh* Went to fabric store and spent too long there, but walked out with some beautiful new fabric, new thread, and new interfacing and fusible webs. Nothing stopping me now;)
Ate lunch and got kids' lunch together. Friend came over for three hours and I taught her what I knew. I'm curious to see what she comes up with.
Then I ran around like crazy, trying to get ready for dinner guests. We ate with friends and had a really lovely time. They have kids who are sympatico with our kids and so it was a fun time for everyone. They left around 8:15 I think and then there was the business about getting kids to bed, especially the one who needed to make her bed because she wanted her bedding washed:)
Kids are in bed. I got some beta comments on my podfic, so I'm going to see if I can make the changes needed. At the moment, I'm transferring a bunch of stuff to my shiny new tiny external hard drive. It's so small and cute. I really need to get with the 21st Century.
Tomorrow is Monday and you all know how I feel about Mondays. Talk to me about Mordred. Or science. Or something:)
I've tried to read everyone's reviews on 5.11, I think. I want to do some writing tomorrow. Ack. I have a plot to chase down, a fluffy fic to write/finish, and a secret fic to finish. And at least three little quilts for fundraiser contributions before next weekend.
