OTPs in Merlin
I know that most people ship Arthur/Merlin like whoa and I do sort of, but this season there has been a huge shift for me. I now have a triangle going on in my head, or maybe it's some sort of parallelogram, thanks to

I'm pretty much open to everything in this fandom although Arthur/Merlin is my OTP. I have to say that I don't care very much about a pairing if Merlin isn't a part of it. On the other hand I can pair him with basically everyone without problems. He has more chemistry with some of the characters which makes it more likely for me to write or ship them. But all in all I accept them all.
Although Lancelot isn't my favourite character I really like the dynamic of his relationship with Merlin. The fact that he knows Merlin's secret and still accepts and loves him shift their friendship. Plus it's the ideal I want for Arthur/Merlin as well. I can't imagine Arthur in the same situation as considerate and lovable as Lancelot but still...
I also liked the early Merlin/Gwaine. The later pairing (like we have in season 5) I don't like at all which is mainly because they destroyed the character and made him a complete idiot.
Also very interesting: Merlin/Mordred because they have a classic hate/love relationship bound by magic. Very complex and ambiguous.
Merlin/Arthur/Mordred not so much for me although I do understand where you're coming from.

Yeah, Merlin is pretty much my main man, although you know Mordred is sneaking up on him in my head;) Merlin does have chemistry with everyone! It's crazy.
Ditto for me and Merlin/Lancelot. I see their relationship as very close friends though, not lovers.
Gwaine:( Poor Gwaine.
I don't know yet what to do about Merlin/Mordred. I mean, at the moment I'm having a hard time seeing that as a sexual pairing, but it could change. Much easier to see if Arthur is involved because he'd be the bridge.
