I have had a very busy day. Let's just leave it at that.  I did rewatch 5.01 and was still happy with it, but I really need to watch it alone (again) when I'm not sooooo excited for the premiere.  If I've missed comments, I'm sorry.  I am trying to reply to everyone, but holy cow, there has been a lot of activity on LJ in the last 24 hours and I  ( Read more... )

Finally have been able to watch it, but like you was too excited to take it all in, so I'll have another look again later.
plus like you again, have a sickie kid with a temperature!!- dosed him up with Nurofen and sent him to kinder just so I could watch Merlin (bad mother!)

Yay! Go look again.

Well, you have to do what you have to do. Kids get fevers all the time. I hope your child is feeling all better by the time you pick him up.

Well,no phone call yet so thats a good thing right? He just had a melt-down leaving the house, something was wrong with his jacket and I wasn't allowed to help fix it (and he will not wear a different one, god knows what will happen when he can't get it on, its too small already and the zips broken)

just about to do a bit of cleaning up the house then I'll have another watch - and colin is immensely watchable - his mouth, his hair, and I even saw a 5 oclock shadow somewhere!

Yay for no phone call! Poor thing. It's so rough, being little and young. I have one child who doesn't want to part with old clothes either.

Yay! Indeed, you did spy a 5 o'clock shadow. Lamardeuse, who is referred to above, posted a pic of that moment. Mmmmm.

I've been thru it with the girls, but really didn't expect it from the boy - he thinks he looks stupid if he wears something different!

and yes! i saw that picture (and saved it!)

Oh geeze. That's different from what DD2 does. She just gets attached to things. They disappear when the season changes:D

They're all different, but I think its an age thing and they'll grow out of it (hopefully)
DD1 insists she's got nothing to wear, DD2 used to wear the same outfit day in day out all thru the year (leggings are brilliant!) Neither will wear a pair of jeans! At the moment DD1 is going on about buying a outfit for her grade 6 graduation - in DECEMBER!! apparently most of the girls have already got theirs.
thank god for school uniforms!

Yeah, maybe. I went through that phase for a long time. Like all of elementary school, I'm pretty sure.

LOL. How old is your DD1? 10? My 10 year old is saying the same thing. Leggings are brilliant, when they can find them! My girls won't wear jeans either.

They have special outfits for grade 6 graduation? It's a very casual affair here.

DD1 is 11 (1/2 - 12 next Feb)
I thought it was graduation was a casual thing - its just dinner and something at school, but the girls seem to be going all out
I''ve specifically been told "not Target clothes mum!'

Ah,she's basically a year older than my DD1.

LOL. DD1 would probably be thrilled to get clothes from Target. I never buy them new clothes. I'm too cheap. I'd rather travel.

oh my girls love to shop, especially shoes, I think the shoe shopping thing skipped a generation with me!
the poor boy does get second hand things from his cousin but the girls don't. They even love getting clothes for christmas/birthday presents!
