FML
I've had too many days in a row with not enough breaks from my kids. I suck at attachment parenting, apparently. I'm tempted to go lock myself in my room and play with my laptop until violin lesson time. The kids can fend for themselves until then, right? Unfortunately, my house looks like a tornado ripped through it and we are getting eggs to incubate tomorrow and the incubator needs to be set up today. Also, violin lessons happen in my house. So, the house needs to be cleaned.
Also, the girls' room is in progress. I'm supposed to paint trim today. DH and I just had this exchange. (Note that I have not been in their room at all today except to grab a shirt to wear.) The good news is, it's the first thing that actually made me laugh out loud.
How is the painting going?
Abysmally.
Why is that? The kids are playing in the paint with the hand mixer or something?
ETA: can someone explain to me about the use of "fuck" in usernames? It seems like a fairly new trend and I'm rather confused by it, as much as I love the word.
