Drabble: Under her Spell

The moment Agravaine knew he was lost, under her spell, was the first time he felt a chill traveling his spine. The hairs started to rise at the bend in his back and traveled up to his hairline. Turning around, he realized, with amazement, that the feeling came from the child in front of him. Morgana stood there innocently, eyes wide, blinking, ( Read more... )

Loved it! I love the idea that this is what drew Agravaine to side with Morgana. And it has that scary undertone as well, which makes me sense the non-con now that you've mentioned it.

Thanks! I was hoping that this wouldn't have that creepy undertone, but in mind, it gets to dub/non-con very fast. Someone on AO3 wants more. *facepalm* It may come to that, that I need to write more, but I wanted to write about Arthur and Merlin on a motorcycle.

I liked that Agravaine at least understood that he was under her spell - either magical or otherwise.

As for writing non-con, it can get very uncomfortable very quickly. I've written a couple and while the stories demanded it, I've only posted them on one site and under a different name.

Well, I think it's a little ambiguous. If I drew it out more, it would be clear that the spell he thinks he's under is not the spell he's actually under, if that makes sense.

Is it crazy that I'm much more comfortable writing explicit slash than non-con? This wouldn't be sexy at all either.

It's not crazy but I'm not comfortable with either one. On the other hand, after posting above, I went and reread the long one I'd written and damn it, it was great. I was really surprised.

Well, I don't think I would ever write non-con sex. I keep trying to write explicit sex. It's very challenging!

\o/ You do things well. I'm surprised that you were surprised:)
