I like to have things to do, but when I'm not at home most of the day, this does not make me happy. Especially when it's days on end, as it has been this week. *thud* So happy to have all day at home tomorrow.

My daughter saw Hugo with her granny and loved it. It's doing really well, so I suspect it'll be around for a while.
Have you played with this before? http://snowflakes.barkleyus.com/
(I warn you---it's addictive!)

This is good to know. Can I ask how old your daughter is? Do you think a 9 year old and 6 year old would like it? I'd prefer not to take the six year old. 9 year old has read the book.
I saw that. I am uncoordinated and can't get the scissors to work. Maybe I'll share it with the girls after school this afternoon.
Thanks:)

My daughters are 9 and 4, and it was my eldest who saw it. I'm not sure a 6 year old would like it. (I'm certain it would be too much for a 4 year old.) But I haven't seen it myself, yet, so I'm not a good judge.
It took some practice for me to get the hang of the snowflake game. The good thing is that even if your cuts are clunky, the end result still tends to turn out looking pretty cool. I'm sure your girls will have fun with it!

Ok, we'll check out the snowflake game this afternoon, when they get home from school. Thanks. Did you guys try the draw a stickman? It's cute once or twice.
