Thanksgiving Day abundance
I've had a lovely day today so far including a dogpile in the bed to start the day. I took DD2 to see The Fantastic Mr Fox at 9:30 this morning. I loved it, although there were a few things I would have liked done differently (the quick action shots were blurry, for instance and it kind of made me a little motion sick). The technical aspects otherwise were brilliant. The story was a little iffy; now I have to go read the original. But we had fun. And DD2 reported to her sister that there were no scary parts. LOL! It was less scary than Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs though.
Came home and made pizza. We are cleaning that up now and we're headed out to spend the evening with friends.
Tomorrow I will take the kids ice skating and Saturday we have plans to attend the local craft fair and I will go and pick up some fleece blanket kits from someone (and I might hit the fabric store since it's a sale).
Hoping to get some time to myself this weekend too, but I am not sure how that's going to happen.
