Busy days
Today we did puppets as our art project. I think the kids had fun decorating and putting on a "show":)
We had a little rest period and then we had two kids over for three hours. They all did really well and I got a bunch accomplished in the kitchen. I baked bread, cooked cabbage and green beans (different dishes), got zucchini grated (I was going to make the zucchini into fritters, but I pooped out), and I made black beans for burritos as DD1 had been asking for a couple days for them. Shew. I also ran to get my allergy shots today.
Tomorrow we are going to participate as audience members in the performing arts. I think it's our one chance this summer to do it, so we had to grab the bull by the horns.
I think we'll just take it easy tomorrow afternoon. Wed is jam packed with swim lessons in the morning and me having a wart removal treatment (at the same time!). In the afternoon, I may send my kids to someone's house or I might have a babysitter come here.
Then we take off on Thurs for internet free parts of the world. Or rather, I will not have reliable internet access for a week. I might start suffering from dt's.
