Wake up and smell the coffee
This morning was great. The not so great part was that DD1 came in and woke me up at 6:15, but dh dragged her out shortly after that and I dozed until 6:45. The other not so great part was that I had to change a poopy diaper for the second morning in a row:P
But otherwise the morning went very smoothly and I got DD1 to school before the first bell. I got DD2 off to school, returned some books to the library, put a load of laundry away, made meatloaf, and got a bunch of sewing done on DD1's quilt.
In the afternoon we went to cryingbaby 's and saw her new digs. I love her new townhouse. It's not quite as big as the previous one, but it sure is warmer! And very stylish too;) The kids didn't really get in a groove until we'd been there almost two hours, and then I made them leave.
We got a package from my mom today with a shirt for me and some stuff for the girls. My parents got the girls masks when they were in Venice a couple weeks ago, and they were thrilled. The masks are beautiful!
I was quite pleased with my day, although not so pleased about dinner. I am really tired of making sure that DD1 has something different to eat. We have tons of food in the fridge. I figure she can eat something that's leftover if she doesn't want what we're eating. /cranky mode
Oh, and I made a difficult call to the bank. The hardest part turned out to be waiting on hold. Otherwise it was actually very straightforward (I think).
