Because I am braindead

Sep 22, 2008 20:14

  • 7 am: alarm went off and I got up shortly thereafter
  • showered, checked email, made self breakfast, unloaded dishwasher, packed lunch and snack for DD1
  • got DD1 to school
  • ran home, changed DD2 (and dressed her), grabbed prescription for chest xray and went to hardware store
  • dropped DD2 off at preschool and then parked and snuck in to to see if the things I got at the hardware store worked (one did, two were the wrong size -- oops)
  • went to doctor's office to attempt to get xray, found out machines were broken.  0.o
  • came home and ate some cookies and had a couple conversations on the phone
  • decided to get chest xray at farther location (arrived there around 10:30 and had the results by 11:30 -- all clear there)
  • came home and shoveled in some food; started a load of laundry; talked with another friend about staying after school to play on playground
  • ran to library for a picosecond and went back to hardware store
  • picked up DD2 and fixed one thing at school (one thing left to deal with; argh)  (and all this was before noon!)
  • came home and diddled around a bit; put clothes in drier; made popcorn
  • picked up DD1; played on playground for an hour
  • took DD1 to her friend's house, came home
  • DD2 watched My Side of the Mountain and I put the laundry away (small load)
  • I also got the dishwasher loaded again
  • made a couple phone calls about shell of house next door; was thwarted in my quest to find information
  • visited with friend who came to pick up her milk
  • picked up DD1 from friend's house
  • cooked noodles; ate dinner
  • unloaded dishwasher
  • put DD2 to bed
I am exhausted.  I'm glad every day is not like this!  Did I say I was exhausted?  I'm going to go clean up in the kitchen and go to bed.

Re the breathing: it does seem to be getting better.  It seems improved from when I was on the inhaled steroids at any rate, and that is a good thing.  It still doesn't feel quite normal, but I'll take what I can get right now.  I'd love to be able to mow the lawn on Wed, say.

a day, health, (not) wimpy mommy
