Happy Mother's Day
I feel compelled to wish everyone a Happy Mother's day. Mine started out with a very energetic five year old shoving her handmade gift in my face at 7:30 this morning. She was so excited about it and I could barely read the writing for all the crud in my eyes, but it was a very sweet way to start the morning. And eventually I got to go back to sleep for another hour. Bliss.
Why is it that the greatest gift I can wish for is a few hours peace?:P I do feel that my family is my greatest blessing and also my biggest source of stress.
So, here's hoping for a good day for everyone. I know some of you are hurting for various motherly reasons and my heart goes out to you. Hopefully you can mother yourself a little bit today and find a little peace in that.
