- got up around 7:45 and showered
- fixed breakfast for everyone and packed lunches and snacks
- got DD2 dressed and everyone out the door
- dropped DD1 off and went to preschool where I sat in the classroom and tried not to fall asleep
- left school at 12:15; fed DD2 some pepperoni, milk, corn chips, and canteloupe (I ate a pb&j sandwich and some chips) and drove to friend's house to deliver some books and share my Witch Quilt
- came home and bought some prosciutto
- hung out like a vegetable for half an hour; returned a phone call and emptied dishwasher
- picked up DD2 from school
- came home and played some scrabble and started frittata
- finished cooking frittata and ate it and some coleslaw from last night
I am not having some zombie time. I'm sooo sleepy. I didn't fall asleep until after 12:30 last night! I will start some molasses bread pretty soon here. No other real plans for the evening except to avoid eating because I ate a bunch of little snacks after dinner yesterday.
60 day goals: I did ok at being present at dinner; having the kids not eating with us is really helpful towards that end! I did some kegels in the car today (go me! I'll do more when I'm reading tonight too). I'm not snacking after dinner. I might have some tea, but no snacks.
I started listening to
The Last Summer (of You and Me)I'm really enjoying it despite the bad reviews it got on Amazon. I wasn't expecting great literature. It's a nice beach escape.
