I'm half way through the day and have had my blood drawn and visited with my friend (who watched my darlings while I went it). I ate lunch; the girls have not. They are next door, visiting the neighbors. And I'm sitting in front of the computer. Bad me. I should be doing some of the things that need doing. Here's my list for the afternoon
- make pizza sauce
- start crust(s) dough
- do some laundry (put one load away and start another)
- cook the chard I bought yesterday
Geez, that seems do-able. How much you want to bet it won't feel do-able:P?
Ok, I'm off to attempt to be productive for a while. I'm still hoping the girls will watch Curious George. DD1 seems to have no interest in it.
And we still are uncertain about dancing tonight. I wish the answer were clear. I suppose I need to follow my father's advice and just wait; the answer will be obvious soon enough:)
ETA: three hours later I have started the sauce and one crust. I'm wiped out. I also fed the girls some snacks with tea (and then cleaned up a broken mug --argh!). And fielded a phone call about windows. And talked to dh at least once about whether or not we're going dancing. I'm not doing laundry or cooking chard today. They can both wait.
