I'm making pulled pork today and I'm combining a few different recipes, so I want to record what I did in case it comes out super delicious:)

First, I got this sauce recipe from Elise.

* 1 large onion, chopped
* 6 garlic cloves, peeled
* 1 pickled jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped 1 chipotle in adobo
* 2 teaspoons of Chipotle chile powder
* 1 Tbsp tomato paste
* 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
* 3/4 cup distilled white vinegar
* 1 teaspoon paprika
* 1/3 cup ketchup 1 can tomato sauce
* 2 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
* 1/4 cup light brown sugar
* 1 bay leaf
* Salt (oops, I forgot the salt)

Blend all ingredients except bay leaf.

I had about 6 lbs of boston butt and I put the sauce in the bottom of a 9X13 casserole dish and plunked the hunk of pork in the sauce and put a little sauce on the part not in the sauce. I covered with foil and started the oven at 400, immediately turning it down to 200 when I put the meat in. I plan to cook it five hours.
