Mother Nature decided I didn't need any sleep...x_x
I love thunderstorms...really. Unless they keep me from getting anymore than 3 hours of deep sleep..x_x
I went to bed around 10:30...actually fell asleep around 11:30there were storms scooting around the valley but a good distance away, pretty to watch but not too loud...about 1:30am..I'm dead asleep..and we get a massive flash-boom! I mean either in my yard or right across the street, it was that sudden and loud! Scared the heck out of me then knocked the power out for about 10 minutes. When it came back on I reset my alarm, but also set my cellphone alarm incase it went out again while I was asleep. I had to get up at 5am for work...I went and calmed down my dog who is terrified of t-storms we got a few more close hits...then at around 2 finally went back to bed and fell right back asleep...3:15am rolls around and we get hit hard again! A bunch more flash-booms...I just whine to myself and grab my portable cdplayer and put it on, drowning out the thunder and cover my head with the blanket to keep the lightening flashes from keeping me awake...needless to say..I didn't geet back to sleep. I got out of bed at 5 and went to dry my laundry that I left in all night like a slacktard(in the words of Tivvy) and find the garage had started to flood with the constant rain all night...so I spent a while moving boxes out of the water and away from where it would most likely flood again later..
Oh..and as a side note...Cali drivers CAN'T drive in the rain...almost got into 4 accidents on the way here..x_x
And now my ordering system at work wont work for the second day in a row...so we get to tell more people that we will fax them confirmation on their orders later...then sit back and do...NOTHING..
Yet, with all this...I'm in a great mood!! XD...go figure..
