The next JK Rowling...??? ok wake up from the dream...
Finally, I feel the writing bug. It's about damn time. I use to write a lot when I was younger. Short stories, poetry. For the past few years, I have had a bit of a block.
I thought it was a combination of laziness and a lack for anything interesting to write about.
This may sound funny to some of you..
Ever since I heard the story about JK Rowling and how she started writing Harry Potter... I always thought to myself... If she can do it THAT WAY... then I can. I am very sure that all of the Harry Potter fans reading this journal knows exactly what I am talking about. THAT WAY... meaning the stories about how she began writing her story. Some of the stories I have heard about. Broke, in a coffee shop, writing on napkins. What ever the truth may be... it still inspires me. Just thinking about someone down and out with a story that she would like to tell. I can relate to that. I have had so so so so SO MANY story ideas in my head. I just couldn't get them down.
I mean, written.
I feel the winds of change brewing... I can hear the characters in my head. (I swear I am not crazy) lol
I need to discipline myself and write them down. No more excuses or distractions.

I am going to try to write again. I feel like I have an awesome story to tell. So DAMN it... I am going to tell it.
