First of all, I want to say that
Yuletide is coming! If you've never taken a read through
their Jekyll section, then you definitely should, because the Yuletide fic exchange has been good to our little fandom in years past.
Fandom nominations for 2009 are already open and will continue through 8:59 pm US Eastern time on Tuesday, October 20th. For more information, see
yuletide_admin and
yuletide.
In other news, when I started thinking about stopping by the comm to pimp Yuletide, I remembered that I had posted a fic to FFN a while ago and never mentioned it here. When I went to get the link so that I could remedy that situation, I discovered that I had somehow managed to post an old WIP file for the story instead of the finished piece, so more than half the text was missing, and it had been on display like that for more than a month. **headdesk** If you stumbled across the story on your own at any point in the past month and went "WTF?," please give it a second chance. If this is the first time that you've heard of it, then just pretend that this paragraph doesn't exist.
Title:
In The Lions' DenAuthor: Zath Chauvert
Summary: A small missing scene from the second episode: Hyde killing the lion, from Tom's POV.
Rating: T/PG-13 (and let me know if you think I need to raise the rating. Things get a little messy.)
"In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps tonight..." The link above takes you to FFN, or you can
read it at Food Runs, or both, depending on your archival preferences.
