Memories are what we hold on to when everything seems to be changing
I haven't updated in forever, so I thought that I'd give this a shot. But it's just really not my day today! I totally woke up on the wrong side of the bed today (not literally) and I still have the same headache from this morning. :( But things are starting to look up. Holly invited us over for dinner tonight. That's exciting! Anything is better than cafeteria food.
My classes are going pretty well. Just trying to stay ahead. I have exams coming up at the end of the month/beginning of October.
I really miss home! My aunt flew in today from Tampa to spend a week here. My grandparents are so happy right now! I'm glad. I just wish that I was there to spend time with her. This weekend is my great aunt and uncles 50th wedding anniversary so they're having a big party! That should be a ton of fun, but none of my roomies wanna go with me to learn the lil' mexican dance...LOL.
Hmm...what else...my grandma's 80th birthday is coming up next month! She really wants me there so I'm going home the 8th to celebrate with my family. Last week she went on a motorcycle ride with my uncle. That's a lil scary to think of, but she's always wanted to say that she was 80 years old and rode a motorcycle!
Not really a whole lot going on, so I think that's about it. I just wanted to say thank you to my girls for being there for me so far this semester. I don't know what I'd do without you guys!
