funny how things happen
so on friday we were all sitting around the dining room table
talking about wedding plans.
andrew and my dad were discussing our future name change
and my dad thought if andrew was going to change his name
he should just take his mother's maiden name.
andrew said it was heston
and my dad said like charlton?
andrew told him that charlton heston was actually a family relative
by adoption.
my dad thought he was full of crap
and told andrew that charlton heston had died awhile ago.
they argued back and forth
until finally we consulted the internet and discovered
that uncle chuck was indeed alive and well.
i opened the paper this morning and found
charlton heston's obituary right next to my dad's.
life is strange.
