Can't disobey God, at least as much as possible I can't. :\
Peta is extremely biased, so they tend to show things at huge extremes to win people over, so you've most likely seen something that really doesn't happen anywhere remotely to as much as they want you to think.
What's important in all this is that if you keep a holy day, keep it for God's sake; if you eat meat, eat it to the glory of God and thank God for prime rib; if you're a vegetarian, eat vegetables to the glory of God and thank God for broccoli. (Romans 14:6 MSG)
Oh darn it. I did not mean to post the Cain/Abel offering response anonymously. (Clicked on the wrong button.) I'll say it again here. Cain offered his homegrown vegetables to God. His brother Abel offered the slaughter of his best lamb. God was pleased with Abel's offering but not Cain's. Cain got jealous and could neither control nor master his anger and murdered Abel. Makes you think. Ah well.
I eat meat. Sometimes it really grosses me out when I think about it. I am going to watch that video and take its content to heart. PETA is known as extremist and radical and I will take THAT to heart as well.
