Continuity
So I fell off the band wagon for a few days... but really I can't be blamed. It was a busy as hell weekend. A day that started at 5am on saturday (after going to sleep at 1am) and didn't end until 1:30 am.
The show went quite well though. KHS won by 3 points... although we lost ensemble by half a point.. which.. will not happen next time. The Rhapsody's did well also! Just a LONG LONG LONG day. I think I ate once... which I suppose it good for the weight loss... but not so good when you have a drink of wine at the end of the night. Oi vey... I passed out from exhaustion for half an hour on the floor at the mansion in an odd position.
Yesterday was a Snow Day! No having to go into work.. although I can work from home so it's not quite as fun as you think. The evening was interesting as the roomies and I slummed it and went to the Outback Steakhouse for dinner. I realized how long it's been since I've consumed a chunk of red meat.. (stfu b*****s).
Rehearsal tonite for KHS.. lots to get done.. add, change, clean. Also rehearsal for Jmac's Senior Dance piece... she needs my help recording voices to put into her soundtrack. That means I have to find that equipment again.. oi vay.
Have also been grubbing for guard scores around the country. I can't help myself.. I really can't. the CCGC SA guards are kind of scary.. I'm afraid of Cali now! I need to step it up in the Movement Department!
GBDT moved from Idaho and is back in SC. I'm glad he made it safely despite the subzero temperatures in the midwest. Well glad he made it safe.. but not so glad he's south of the mason dixon line. They hang people like me there.. I imagine it going something like this:
"Why are you hanging that guy?"
"He said something we didn't understand and he has too many folds in his eyelids!"
yeah... F*** the red states....
