Victory!
So I got an 80% on my o-chem exam! YAY! Now I only have to get an A on my final to get an A in the class... shouldn't be too bad, we're only covering one more chapter before we take it.
On a completely unrelated note: I went and saw Rent tonight. EXCELLENT! I loved it. I have a question for you all who know the play better than I. There's a spoiler coming up, so, if you're not familiar with the play/movie, don't click here.
So, Rent is based on La Boheme, right? In La Boheme, Mimi dies. In the Rent movie, she has a near-death experience, and Angel tells her to go back. Did they change it for the movie, or did the stage version end like that too? Just curious.
In any case, if I ever get the chance to see it on stage, I'm definitely going to. And I'm SO getting that DVD when it comes out. And I'm getting the soundtrack as soon as I can afford it. :-D Or maybe someone will give it to me for christmas... I'll start dropping hints :-P hehehe
Collins, who usually despises musicals, decided to expose himself to the chance of torture because he loves me THAT much, and went with me. I am happy to report that he actually enjoyed it, and has been humming "Seasons of Love" every now and then. You gotta admit, it's damn catchy. :-D
In any case, I should go to bed. Gotta go work tomorrow, and maybe i'll take Takako to see Rent again tomorrow :-D
