WOW.
i really don't know what to say. i can't believe it's been so long since i last updated this thing. unbelievable. for those of you who might still check this thing, all three of you, i am alive and doing very well. the only explanation that i can give for my cyber-absence is that my life has been ridiculously and wonderfully busy over the past few months (or however long it's been) since i last posted.
the biggest news, and most of you probably already know this via other means, is that i am now engaged to the most amazing woman on the planet. yep, i asked April to marry me last month and i am so happy that she said yes. for those of you who don't know her, consider yourselves blighted fools until the day you do. ;) for those of you who do know her, you know what an incredibly lucky man i am. her love for God, for others, and for me constantly astonishes me.
so the wedding is set for Aug. 14th and we are so excited. it's gonna be a blast. we're working on various details right now. we spent a few hours in Target on saturday registering. i was a little out of it with allegery nonsense causing me problems, but we got a lot taken care of and i made sure we put some fun stuff on the list too. mwwwahahahahahaaa...
in other news, i'm still working at Davidson and waiting to hear from Young Life where i'm going to be assigned. the deadline that they gave themselves for making a decision is coming up (the 15th), so i'm hoping to hear something soon. we've been praying that it will be Charlotte. we'll see what God has up His sleeve for us. :)
there's more to share, but i'm a little tired, so i think i'm going to take advantage of this day off and get some sleep. i'll be back later with more nonsense and revelry. hugs and kisses all around...
