wow...it's been a while...
yo gang! how goes it? day after Christmas, chillin' at my parents' house in SC. i haven't updated this sucker for quite some time. i hope everyone is alive and well.
life has been crazy for me, so i'll try to bring youze guyz up to date. let's see...well, i got a new car, that's probably the biggest news. my old one (the Beast) was an 84 Chevy Caprice Classic Station Wagon that got condemned by the state of NC. in other words, it failed inspection with repairs estimated at about $700. that was a little more than i wanted to put into that old car, so i decided to donate it and spring for a new one. my dad and mom helped me out a lot and dad tracked down a '99 Camry for a great price. i'm amazed at how cool this car is, especially after that old tank. hahaha...it feels like a James Bond car in comparison because it's got a tape/CD player, sunroof, security system, remote keyless entry and remote start. crazy! i'll try to post some pics soon...including the parting shots of the Beast, may it rest in pieces.
other than that, i'm still chugging along at my job in Davidson, planning for the next step in my life. i've been praying about it a lot and i really want to go on staff with Young Life full time. so i'm going to be working on my application while i'm home on vacation. good stuff...
other than that, there are some cool things in the works...but i'll leave you guys hanging for now. mwwahahahahaha!!
oh yeah, one last thing: i have the coolest family ever. my folks helped me with my car and my sister got me some Strong Bad stuff for Christmas. how sweet is that? and then my girl April sends me a kickass Christmas package, with a C.S. Lewis book, X-Men DVD collection, and Marvin Gaye CD (plus some other fun/cool stuff). i'm crazygonuts here. how can one guy be so blessed??
