Growing
I'm seeking to follow my King, day by day.
Learning how to sanctify everything I do to Him (1 Corinthians 10:31). Learning how to stand in the face of fear and keep walking. Learning how to entrust my suffering to Him. It's His suffering love that saves us - He saves us.
I'm learning to trust in His love, when I feel it and when I don't feel it. I can't base my sense of peace on my feelings. My foundation must not be in shifting feelings or circumstances - it must be built on the Rock. He must be my foundation. I have to humble myself and allow the Lord to work as He will, not as I will. He'll grow my roots with time and patience and faith. I have to entrust it all to Him and keep following Him. :) Have to take responsibility for my life, and then, offer it back to Him as a living sacrifice, a loving offering to our faithful God.
"...let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing." James 1:4
"Therefore, let those suffering in accordance with God’s will entrust themselves to a faithful Creator, while continuing to do good." 1 Peter 4:19
