I had a wonderful weekend celebrating my birthday with my family *hugs* Here we are celebrating with bubble tea of various flavors - strawberry, coffee, and thai tea :) Matt treated us to dinner and then we played a game of Ticket to Ride Pennsylvania. I couldn't make my routes to Buffalo, but I still managed to get second place with some long tracks between Atlantic City and New York City, hehe! We caught up on stories, shared some laughter, I got extra fun presents, and we even had time to cheer for the US soccer team ^_^
We spent the next morning swapping IT tips with Shelby. I even learned some shortcuts that I didn't know before! We got Chick-fil-A biscuits for brunch :) Then my parents and I went to Elmwood Zoo - just a hop and a skip away...

Hello :)
nom nom, thanks for the treat! Dad and I had the opportunity to feed the bisons. It was such a neat experience! They are huge animals, but they were very quiet and calm.

The one critter I regret not taking a photo of was the Barred Owl. When Dad walked by, he started "ho-ho-hooo-ing" loudy. He seemed intrigued by Dad's hat :) It was kind of dark in that spot, so while I don't have a photo, I'll post a link to Elmwood's page about the
Barred Owl. He sure was perky for the middle of the day ^_^
Dad and Mom and I celebrated our adventure by getting dinner at Outback. A delicious way to end a wonderful weekend <3 I'm thanking the Lord for this blessed time and all its joys!
