Sooty Albatross

I learned about a new bird species today - the Sooty Albatross. Isn't it cute? :)

These birds belong to the same Order as the Northern Fulmar that I met on Near Island in Alaska. They're a beautiful dark grey color (similar to the color of a catbird, it seems) with a wingspan similar to that of a turkey vulture. Sooty Albatrosses live in the southern Pacific Ocean and eat a variety of food at sea.
