Sunday Drive

This afternoon, I decided to take a Sunday drive to the Williamsport overlook to watch for birds. I ran into a group from the Lycoming Audubon Society who were hawk watching. I spent about an hour and a half chatting with them and observing migrating birds. We saw a few bald eagles, shinned shinned hawks, cedar waxwings, and others. I got experience using my binoculars, which was great! I also took my new bag for a test run and it worked well. It's wide enough to hold my birding gear along with the typical stuff one carries around. It felt good to get outside, stand in the sunshine breeze, and meet some local birders. :)

On the drive home, I was asking God to see some TVs and when I came up over the hill, there was a whole swarm of vultures, including some Black Vultures! Woah :D
