Stormtroopers?!
A few weeks ago, I stumbled across a reference to the 501st Legion. At the time, I didn't know what it was - but I did see folks dressed up in Stormtrooper gear and Imperial Officer's uniforms. Wow, fun! How is it that I hadn't run across this group earlier?
I'm investigating the possibility of constructing an Imperial Navy Trooper costume :) They appear in all three of the original movies serving in various guard roles. In the opening scene of Return of the Jedi, you can see them operating air traffic control for the Death Star. (Wonder which bands they use for such communication? :P) Later, some are surprised by Ewoks! They might not speak much, but they are dedicated, hard-working troopers.
