Old journals
I read through an old journal today from the days when I was in 5th grade. I wrote about family, classwork, school friends (and enemies), illness, medical treatments, and Star Wars.
Some funny snippets:
"We played Passport + Survive. I lost both."
It happens.
"Mrs. S. is going to pretend to be captian John Smith. Only I know. She wrote it on my paper by accident."
Ohh, secrets :]
"I now know I will never get a stuffed kangaroo. I found out nobody has seen anything close to a kangaroo ... I shall never truly be perfectly close to happy. I think it's something about me, I'm having trouble writing this. I think I may even cry."
Wow.
And yet, somehow that Easter I got...a stuffed kangaroo! :D
