Who am I?
I'm a soul hidden in the Word (Colossians 3:3).
My name is
Megan. It means "pearl" and my Lord has indeed given everything to redeem me from death. Praise the Lord! On livejournal, I use the name
Jehoshabeath as I rejoice in God's faithfulness and look forward to the blessing of eternal life in His house.
If you catch me on a random day, I'll probably be digging deep into the Scriptures, looking for rich treasures. I'm an information professional and so I want to know, to make known, to transcribe, to arrange, and to teach.
I'm still learning what God has said. As his daughter, I yearn to trust what He has said.
I'm still finding my voice - my voice in prayer. I take up my little Jewish prayerbook and say with the ancients, "Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall declare Your praise!"
God created me as a woman, a temple for His good Spirit, desiring that I cultivate a gentle and quiet spirit as I walk with Him.
God created me as a Gentile, granting me righteousness in Jesus, desiring that I walk with Him in righteousness.
God planted me in a family of God-fearing Pennsylvanians. What a delight it is to honor them! :)
By nature, I'm a production-driven perfectionist. I have a tendency to drive myself straight into exhaustion with anxiety pursuing me the whole way. But I'm learning how to fear God above all and I'm growing in gratitude for God's good gifts.
"The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood,
And the Lord sits as King forever." Psalm 29:10
"He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more." Revelation 3:12a
