Weeding out Fear
When I was younger, I didn't understand "how I could live for the glory of God in this world of darkness." (7/2007) But God has provided the Way and I'm learning how to walk with Him. I still find fear-weeds rooted in my heart along the way, though. As I find them, I'm called to shine the light of truth on them and root them out. Root out the fear! Lord, help me to fully trust that You are good. Teach me right from wrong. Do both through Your word. Amen.
Yes, God knows where we dwell. "I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is..." Revelation 2:13 But God is greater and Jesus is King over all (Matthew 28:18). Jesus came here Himself to visit us and defeat our enemies (Luke 1:68). He makes us free indeed (John 8:31-32).
