Shabbat
This weekend, I'm planning to observe shabbat (the Sabbath).
I spend quite a lot of time working both at the office and at the house. Not only that, but my obsessive-tendency keeps me in constant motion from one thing to the next. I run and run until I collapse. But where is God in this style of life? I'm so thankful that He gives us the gift of rest and the hope of eternal rest in His kingdom. I'm looking forward to a quiet day of fellowship with Him.
