"This is eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you sent." John 17:3 (CEB)
It's so easy to slip into a god-less mindset. But true joy is found in God alone. As the Psalm says, "Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance." I want to think less about my wish-lists, to-do lists, and regrets and think more about the Lord Jesus. May HaShem direct my thoughts toward Him in the morning and throughout the day so that I would not forget Him but remember Him and rejoice. I've been learning one Jewish prayer that is offered first thing in the morning. May my thoughts and prayers come up before him as the morning sacrifice.
".מודה אני לפניך מלך חי וקיים, שהחזרת בי נשמתי בחמלה; רבה אמונתך"
