North Carolina

How many of you have lived in North Carolina at one time or another? I've never been there, but I'm really curious to learn more about what the state is like. Could anyone tell me a little bit about any NC locations that you may be familiar with? Many thanks :)

Alas, I only lived there when I was six so I don't remember much of anything about it! Are you planning a trip there?

Ah, that's ok :) The state keeps popping up in various contexts for me, so I'm considering a visit sometime in the future. I don't know anything about the state, so I thought I'd try to solicit some info here before I went off to research on my own.

I would love to learn more about Norway! What things do you like/dislike about the country? Do you have a favorite place or a place that you recommend visiting? :)

Wow, how interesting! Are the three official languages similar?

Sogn & Fjordane and Finmark look beautiful... I didn't realize that Norway was so beautiful! Now I really want to visit :)

I would love to come visit you :D Have you ever had a friend from lj come to see you in person?

Me! I grew up here and live here now. Hmm, I'd say it's like Virginia. You're familiar with Virginia, I expect!

(I'm belatedly finally catching up on internet stuff. I didn't have much computer time while I was up there!)

Hehe :) Did you have a nice time visiting here? I hope you're settling in back in at home.

I haven't spent a lot of time in Virginia, but I've been to a couple places. Are the towns/cities in NC pretty small and old fashioned or are they getting really built up?
