Baptism

"...we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life." Romans 6:4

This past Sunday on 11 July 2010, I was baptized.

I was baptized as a baby, too :)

I was raised Lutheran. My Dad used to be the pastor of two churches in the main Lutheran church, but now he's a pastor of a Lutheran Brethren church (http://www.newhopelbc.com/). I don't know much about the Anglican church. Do you attend a church these days?

That sounds really nice.

I know that I feel much more content when I attend a church that focuses on the word. I feel like I've eaten my fill of spiritual food. "And Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger...'" John 6:35 It's too bad that they don't sing hymns, though. There's something really hearty about the old hymns.

How did you find that church? I've been trying to nudge my brother into joining a local church near his campus, but I know how hard it can be to find a solid, godly church.

Wow, that's a great story :) It's wonderful to hear how God leads us in ways that we would never expect. That Green Bean Cafe sounds pretty nice. Do you visit there often?

Btw, I've always wanted to try my hand at NaNoWriMo. Did you finish a novel?
