Bencher's getting ready
The Bencher and I are doing quite fine these days. My coordination has improved since I've gotten more accustomed to the feel of the paddles and the pace of the code. I practice off-the-air on the radio while listening for people on-the-air.
No doubt the Bencher is getting excited about next weekend when the rig will be hooked up to an outdoor antenna in quiet rural PA. Wonder how long it's been since the Bencher paddle has been active in a contest? I'm guessing that it's been a while!
Contest preparations are going smoothly. I think I've gotten the hang of the logging software and I know most of the counties in Central and Southern PA. There's only one more weekend to get ready...
