Time. Gospel of John. Techno.
'A few minutes ago' it started to grow darker outside. I switched on the lights but decided to keep working for a while with the shades of my window open. I just looked out again what seemed like 'a minute later' and now it is pitch black and McDonald's lights are blaring. I guess a minute ago was more like an hour ago. Time flies too quickly when trying to finish papers and projects! :p
Today my Bible study teacher and I finished the Gospel of John! We have been studying it a passage a week for the past 15 months or so and I've learned so much. I have come to know my Savior and Lord much better and I picked up many good techniques for Bible study. Still, I am sure we only scratched the surface :) There is so much good truth in there! It's so interesting that we finished the last chapter during the last Bible study for this graduate semester. I know I will really miss 1-to-1 Bible study. At the same time, once school lets out, I will have time to study books that I have been putting off - like Isaiah, Amos, and Hebrews.
John 21:25 "And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen."
By the way, music on headphones is great :D And techno is very much needed at a time like this! Techno drowns out other sound as well as a sense of time, allowing me to work all afternoon with fairly few distractions, besides my own laziness :p
