It’s late at night. He wanted to sleep. Yet, his mind was in a jumble right now. A lot of things were passing through in his mind. He kept his eyes to the ceiling. Beside him, the reason of his current state was sleeping peacefully.
“You look beautiful..” He said absentmindedly to the said person after turning his body to his side..
“If only you knew, just how much I love you..” He smiled sadly while brushing the other boy’s brown soft locks. Watching the smaller boy’s even breathing, he soon fell into a deep slumber. Losing his chance to hear the magic words..
The other boy’s eyes flew open once he’s sure the older boy really had fallen asleep. Watching the innocent yet restless expression of the older boy, he couldn’t help himself but reached out his hand to do the same thing as what the other boy did earlier.
“I know.. I’m sorry. I do too..”
And before long, the silence thickened, covering the two boys who drifted to the dreamland for the rest of the night.
