EVERYONE IS GAY... EXCEPT ME

We've uploaded a new track from the upcoming EP All You Need is Blood, which will be available in October. We're real proud of this one. It's called "Everyone is Gay". Bill initially wrote the music and chorus to vent his frustration at our female fan base being overwhelmingly lesbian, and thus, not interested in boning the guitarist. When he asked me to fill in the verses and bridge, though, I interpreted the song as a declaration of loneliness. See, gays have a community. They get a parade. However, when you're just a weirdo, the world lumps you in with every other weirdo, whether you fit in together or not. Being gay used to be a stigma, and is now seen as a virtue in popular media. That's progress, and I'm ecstatic about it, but it makes me wonder when I'm going to see TV shows with people like me in them.

Now, the one place all weirdos get along (or at least coexist) is Rocky Horror. I remember when I was 14 or 15, and first started going to the show. I wasn't really friends with any of the people that went, but they'd get a wild hair up their asses and let me tag along occasionally. So every Saturday, I'd get dressed and wait by the door around 9:00 PM. And I'd wait. And I'd wait. About 11:45 PM, I'd give up and go watch TV. Yet another time when everyone was having fun, and I was just left out. I probably only got to go 5 or 6 times before I was almost 17, so that shows you how pathetic an uncool I used to be. And that's the verses to the song.

Go give it a listen.

P.S. I'm the devil voice in the track. No FX, just my voice.
