Hello hello! Happy 2019 all of you, how's it treating you? No, I mean it, how is it going for you?
I'm so excited but also so weary. I probably shouldn't be posting this, as my eyes genuinely ache! But I need to feel the need to splurge this stuff out. Tomorrow, we see Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls, supported by Jimmy Eat World, how ace is that? One of the best live bands ever and one of the most genuinely great bands at putting emotion into slabs of rock music.
Is it macabre that I want this song to be played somewhere in my funeral?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrfcrcGtL8c Frank admits that he loves Manchester and as a city, we ALWAYS sell out our venue first, so he has rewarded the city with another night. As our friends who live in Norfolk couldn't get to the Norwich gig, they are coming up to Manchester... and we are looking after their twins for an evening. THIS IS FUCKING SCARY! But on the plus side, Travis is being looked after for the night, so we get a rare chance of sleeping in, into Sunday.
Travis? Yes, he is teething, so it is back to the maximum of two hours' sleep at the time treadmill. With illness on top of that, it's been a tough old week.
I am also weary as I have just done two nine hour days in work to earn myself another flex day of holiday for after Superbowl. Which is even more tremendous now, as my Dad's team, the New England Patriots (yeah, I know..) have qualified (again!) and I have a crate and a half of my favourite beer ever left over from Christmas to enjoy it with:

As last week, sleep was so bad and this week, it continues to be plus me and Toni are now ill, I haven't done anything on my College project in around ten days. I am trying not to go nuts internally about this. The offer of an extension is there, I don't want to take it but if I feel like I need to, I will. There is no shame in that.
This month has absolutely flown by. My Mum has appeared healthier in home news and I am now more confident of her living a few more years, rather than months.
Yes, this is a positive post. Now, for sleep.
