Nearly Time For 13 Days Off..!
It's just gone half ten in the morning and I've already reheated curry from Wednesday for breakfast! Yay, it's Christmas, so you can pretty much eat whatever and whenever. I've also done my Fantasy League team, caught up with LJ and Ebay plus collected a box from our neighbour upstairs. For once, it wasn't him farting or burping, just moving about that alerted me that he was awake!
With Toni still catching up with sleep, due to another heavy work week, that box full of Thorntons chocolate intended for presents is in danger of getting eaten... It's all delicious and over there, nom!
UPDATE: Blue (our cat) is now climbing over Toni's face, that should get her up for the Christmas shop we need to do today.
I'm only this hungry for food as it's been a long work week for me too, I've worked an extra 7 hours over the past two weeks, this gets me an extra day's holiday, which has enabled me to get from December 22nd's afternoon till January 5th off work, unbelievable!
Although this has come at a price, my work is full of people with varying kinds of colds, coughs and illnesses, the like of which I have never seen before. They also seem to refuse to use the FULLY PAID sick days that they get given as part of their contract! So they come in, hate having the windows open and instead we all fester and fall in their warm, germ-spreading, fresh oxygen-less trap.
I had my first sick day in 2 years recently because of this and happily took a day off fully paid, some people don't get that in their work, so what is their problem? If it costs me any of my time off, there will be payment in blood on their part!
It's also been tough as one of my close friends' case was passed to the Bailiffs to collect payment. This is one of the parts of the job I like least. Oh and it wasn't me that did it either, just so you know. I do feel guilty though, I gave him the best possible advice but he'll probably have to pay loads of pointless extra costs. Shit.
Anyway, I feel like I have more to say but we have to Christmas food shop! Yay for chores I like to do!
