So, two weeks have elapsed, time for a proper update about life and such! Or more likely, chunks of thoughts spewed out in nothing resembling an order!
So, we've kind of inherited a pet with this new flat, he's a lumpy, flea-ridden tempestuous cat, who apart from chicken, we have no idea what food he actually likes! He seems to prefer being offered food over actually eating it, then leaving it wasted on the floor! The trouble is, he's just too damn lovable and even flea bites won't stop us letting him in..!
It's just under 2 months till I get wed to
thelma_viaduct and the preparations got further fulfilled as I now own the jacket and know which shirt I'll be wearing! It won't be a full on suit, it'll be too much in the heat we expect to get married in!
Money is tight as a result, so to maximise everything lying about, buy our spares and tat!:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/jeffthelion2002/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3686 The weight keeps on coming off too, another 2lbs in 8 days bringing me down to 15st 1lb from over 17st in less than 6 months! I now regularly run 5KM in 35 minutes, which elicits the odd thought that I'm the fittest I've ever been AND the oldest I've ever been! How many people can say that?!
I'm still watching the sport though and earlier today me, Pollitt and Russell found a Scrabble board in the place we watch the football in Chorlton, we hadn't even noticed the books and games shelves prior to this so after a few matches of Connect 4 after Liverpool-United, we played a full game of Scrabble while watching city-Arsenal! I won and then even better, we found out that the previous users had tried to fashion a ouija board out of it!
This followed a pissed up night on Friday at our mate's rock night and a Saturday night (which I wasn't involved in) but did feature our mate Michael needing a trip to A & E to sort out a gashed finger and Police turning up at our old house to deliver home one of birthday girl Louise's hammered mates, ha!
Watching the 2012 NFL is kind of bizarre, after years of decent officiating, we've now got these second rater referees and the result is a lottery of penalties, brawls and miscellaneous trash talking over the pitch! Good to see the Patriots looking ominously dangerous as ever, they are my Dad's team so I have a soft spot for them.
It also makes me nervous about tomorrow night's Seahawks game though, I expect that
hits_ofsunshine and her Packers will be celebrating and not me!
And finally for now, welcome to a newbie
harukokazuki , good to have you on board :)!
