I usually plan in advance what I'm going to write here, so there is a great chance that this could be a pile of old gibberish!
Also, I am currently in bed with a sore throat and when that isn't there, a chesty cough joins the party making me cough my guts up.
Having said that, it feels better than last night, it was kind of a precaution to take today off and I think I'm benefitting from it. I've spent the morning in bed, basically drinking water, doing gubbins online and listening to music. There are far worse ways to spend your morning!
Hang on... phone!
That was Toni
thelma_viaduct, she went down for a 'discussion' on a potential job, despite playing it down as that, she could be offered a job down there in around a month. Obviously that happening would put her dissertation on the backburner, which is her decision when it comes down to it but it would mean either moving or living apart for a few months. Although I think this could be handled for a few months, semi-longterm it would involve me moving down there, which is something that I'd be ok with, as long as I had a secure job or a Social work Uni course to go onto. Better look into options down there as well as up here.
The mini-landmark reached in the title was going to be '1 month without anyone moving out' - how ironic!
Speaking of those permanent job things, I used to think that they were an illusion and now I have been offered one, incredibly, I've got to 28 years old and the first time I've been offered something that is not temporary or freelance is now! Although, it would have been confirmed in a meeting today (now rearranged to tomorrow at 9.30 at the Temp Agency.) Typical I would get ill today and we could be potentially moving...
Just got a text from my Dad asking about whether there was a streaker edited out of the NFL coverage from the Wembley game on Sunday, there was and he was ace, avoiding two diving tackles from stewards and highfiving a couple of players, anyone else watch it? I'm still not used to my Dad texting us though!
In other news, the football team I play for have gone off on a tremendous start to the season, winning 9-6 and 9-3, sandwiching a 10-0 forfeit before drawing 8-8 with a late equaliser last week, leaving us top of the league on 10 points and unbeaten. Let's see how we do without a proper keeper (ie me in goal!) tonight!
Oh and can you lovely people please start recommending phones please, as my contract is nearly up, talk about anything except those cursed iphones, ta!
