How do everyone! It feels like ages since I've actually posted on here about anything that's taken more than five minutes to write or been a rugby report or something.
Download Festival was ace and hopefully, I can knock out some kind of review thing. I'm itching to do some writing but I've barely had any time of late.
We are moving house in a mere 9 days' time, our current landlords have enforced the letter of the contract and want us out on the 28th (something we didn't notice when signing it), even though they have no one to replace us due to their neglect of the house! Fortunately our new landlord has been generous and allowed us to move in a couple of days before the new contract starts on the 1st of July.
As we are off to Glastonbury Festival on Wednesday morning, I worked out that we have a mere 3 more sleeps in our current place to go!
Over here in the UK, it's Father's Day today so I went over and had lunch with my folks and we drank a bottle of Champagne my Mum won in a rugby related do on Friday night, it was alright but I'm not a fan of the drink. I felt sleepy afterwards but that's because my Mum and Dad keep their house at a ridiculous temperature even in summer, no wonder they sleep the whole time!
I was interested and did some googling and as it happens, Father's Day is only 103 years old:

Apparently, it was created as a response to Mother's Day, it seems that our ancestors at the time were alright with sexual equality but only when it was beneficial to the males..!
