I've Let The Grass Grow For Ages Again..!
So what the hell have I been doing of late..?
Well, we have 2 new housemates, one of which we know absolutely nothing about (Jonny) and another whom we know plenty about and will fit in just fine (Ander) but might be moving out elsewhere in just a couple of months, bleeding typical!
For those that don't know, I live in a house with 7 other people (including my lovely lady thelma_viaduct , this will be reduced to 6 when the new people move in. Although it's all complicated by the fact that only 5 out of 8 are on the current house contract and just 3 are on the one for the next year...
This ridiculous situation means that the last month or so has been almost like a non-stop search for housemates and since no one else has put up an ad (or at least a successful ad!) the onus has been on me to find people.
We also won another pub quiz as a house albeit one that contained a mere 4 teams (it's a little less impressive now, isn't it?!) I think stating that Botox contained Botulism was the pick of the ones I got. Maybe Leslie Ash would have made a few different decisions if she knew that and the paralysis it causes, eh?!
Hello to all the new people, namely: uglynoodles , j_u_d_a_s , bumblebee and kakarookee added today via the LJ_UK friend adding thread and also to the awesome Will richard_geefe who I know in real life and really should have added ages ago!
Bah, I'd have probably seen Ash tonight in Manchester if I hadn't been (a) so skint and (b) cheese gratered both my knees on astroturf last night. They look like the side of the meat industry they don't want you to see!
