I thought the news did a very good job of not mentioning the child molesting accusations... The jokes were always going to refer to it... I agree with you that his childhood probably was the root of it, if it happened.

Even using Jade Goody in the same sentence as "talent" and "Michael Jackson" seems offensive..!

I don't see why Jade Goody's mother is even news. The line between gossip mags and newspaper grows ever fainter.
