2 major tech accomplishements I was very proud of: 1. transfering my itunes music to my laptop (playcounts, ratings included), and 2. finally figuring out how to get "active" mode working in dc++ which will facilitate greatly my quest for music. This summer has been different to say the least. I got a job at a radiologist office. Today for the first hour and a half I listened to music on my ipod and surfed the internet. But I didn't surf the internet like a normal person would because I'm not an adminstrator on the network so I can only access yahoo and msn.com, unless my boss happens to leave her password saved on the computer... which is quite a treat. Anyways between work, miscelleneous college things, and the occasional run/bike ride I haven't had as much time to socialize as other summers.
Many people are leaving in the next couple weeks, then after that it's a mere 3 weeks until the rest of us are gone. I'm dissapointed that I haven't gotten a chance to really hang out with some people from high school that I may not see for a long while if I don't see them now. Also, I haven't been to barely any parties this summer, I don't know what the deal is. This summer/end of senior year I made a thing of seeing some movies that everyone has seen, but for some reason I haven't. So I saw Scarface, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Darko, Die Hard, Swingers, The Breakfast Club, and Back to the Future. I must say I liked all of them, very good movies. You know what this summer feels like. It feels like when the class has been talking the whole period and the teacher decides to keep all of you 2 minutes after the bell rings. And in those 2 minutes you're just waiting to get out there. the class period was all of high school. The 2 minutes is this summer. And college is the lunch break you're waiting to go to.
