The past couple of days
Well I've just finished a kiwi fruit and I thought I'd make an update. Only a couple of things really.
Saturday I went out for a meal with one of my best mates, Becky. She was going back to uni on Monday so we went out for a meal before she went bac. We also went with two other friends, Becky and James, whom we used to work with at WH Smiths. I haven't seen the other Becky for ages but James and I are good mates so it was really nice to see everyone again. My dad even gave me £30 to go out due to lack of funds! The meal was quite nice. Not a lot for £8 though. The half bottle of red wine made up for it though, haha. We went out for a a few drinks after and thought about a few more nights out together. James invited us to another house party at our friend Lisa's house this Saturday so that's another definate night out!!! Yes!!!!! We may even be going to Alton towers on the 16th September! I haven't been there in years! I love it. Another benefit of this night was that James was driving so no taxi fare (he wasn't drinking)
Today I got a call back today from the Job Seekers Allowance Office. It's got to the stage now that I need help in finding a job while I'm doing my driving lessons. The guy I was talking to sounded lovely. He had a gorgeous scouse accent and I could have talked to him for ages!!! He made it so easy to talk on the phone. I'm normally a very confident person but, on the phone, I freeze. i'm afraid that I'm going to sound like an idiot!!!! I've got an interview on Friday with the job centre, but it also means that they start paying my benefit as well. I hate having to ask for help but it's got to the stage where I need it.
